Godfrey Point

Godfrey Point is a boat launch on the northern shore of Oneida Lake. It has 2 launches and can accommodate dozens of trucks. Its sheltered launch allows you to easily load your boat even on the roughest of days.

  • Free Year Round.
  • Two hard surface launching ramps.
  • Parking for 56 cars and trailers.
  • Bathrooms on site.
  • Maintained by the NYS DEC.

Directions

Godfrey Point is located between Drive 8 and Drive 7 on Route 49 just east of the Village of Cleveland. If coming from the east, on your left will be the sign, turn right after it. If from the west, the road will be on your right. Follow this road all the way to the lake and enjoy. If putting in a boat, stay to the right of the parking lot, and follow the loop to the waiting area and the launch.

It is useful to count the drive numbers (look for the road signs) as you drive down Route 49, as there is no warning for the road, other than the DEC sign. Numbers count up as you drive to the east.

Cleveland Dock

Cleveland Dock is located in Cleveland, on the northern shoe of Oneida Lake. From here you can fish, dock your boat, and enjoy the lake.

Directions

Cleveland Dock is located on the eastern side of the village of Cleveland. To get there, take State Route 49 into the village of Cleveland. If coming into town from the east, then after slowing down to the village speed limit, on your left will be Apps Landing Rd, turn left, park your car and enjoy! If traveling from the west, you will travel through town, and then after descending down a hill, or your right will be Apps Landing Rd, turn right, park your car and enjoy!

Cleveland Memorial Park

Cleveland Memorial Park is a nice stop if you are in the area of Cleveland. Here you can view the lake, picnic and fish. Cleveland Memorial Park is located on the north shore of Oneida Lake, and has a magnificent view.

Cleveland Memorial Park is located in the center of the village of Cleveland. To get there, take State Route 49 into the village of Cleveland. If coming into town from the east, look for the tower (see photo) on your left hand side; from the west look on your right hand side. Turn into the parking lot and and enjoy!
