Cresent is located on the northern shore of the Erie Canal between Lock E6 and Lock E7. It has a canal terminal wall with no services to dock to just east of the route 9 bridge. Cresent is a small town typically not stopped at by most boaters, as there are few things to do in Cresent and there is a large ammount of noise from the nearby bridge. Cresent does make for a good stop for getting milk, ice cream or other small items that can be found at the Stewart's Store only 150 feet from the wall.
Amenities
