Lock E14 of the Erie Canal is in Conajoharie. This lock is located just west of the Riverfront Park, and can also be seen from the NYS Thruway. This is one of the canal locks that suffered considerable damage during the flood of 2006 and is undergoing construction of the dam even in 2008.
