Lock E-17 (E17) is located in Little Falls along the Erie Canal is the largest lock in New York State. The lock lifts every passing vessel an astounding 40.5 feet. On the eastern side of the lock there is a large wall where you may tie up for the night, as well as numerous trails to walk, run or bike.
Because the lift is so large, all craft are required to tie up to the southern wall.
