Lock E7 of the Erie Canal is in the town of Niskayuna.
These pictures of Lock E7 where taken during the winter when the Erie Canal is closed to navigation. There is a fixed dam at this point in the river which you can see to the right of the Lock. There is a hydroelectric power station on the far side of the river (North side) here. There is no bridge across the Canal here at lock E7.
