Scotia is located on the northern side of the Erie Canal between Lock E7 and Lock E8. It has a small dock called "Scotia Landing" that provides access to the town. There are numerous restaurants and other local amenities that make this a worth while stop. To get there, you have to head up one of the branches of the canal that split near Scotia.

Free dock for two small boats or one large.
Cans available for small quantities of garbage.
Various small stores in town, but a medium walk.
Walking trails at park across the street.
Park on both sides of the street for numerous activities.
